Some People's Ignorance...
Oh my, this is just one of those article that you have to read as an illustrator. It is just one of those great fears we hold. Thievery. Plan and simple -- copyright infringement.
Let's face it, there is a difference between showing some else's work alongside of your own work, and getting paid for it and showing someone else's work to share it with the world like in a blog and having no means of ever getting any fee, just to promote and share without harm and embedding links throughout the web.

"The Monster Engine"

"The Monster Engine is a book, a demonstration, lecture and a gallery exhibition. The premise for all three came from one single question: What would a child’s drawing look like if it were painted realistically? " via Dave Devries' website: Dave Devries' The Monster Engine - A Journey Into Children's Imaginations.
